We will take you on a historical hike around the idyllic and peaceful lake in Fitjadalen.
Along the way we will see several hundred-year-old summer farms and boathouses. You will get to know how these buildings and the nature were used as a part of farming and feeding families in the past. We have the opportunity to extend the trip to a rock outcrops where we find petroglyphs and sacrificial pits dating back to the Bronze Age. Here there is a beautiful view of the Fitjadalen lake, the Hardangerfjord and Folgefonna glacier. The hike is fairly easy and can be done by most people.
